Two fireflies are intimately dancing together. A third firefly, an angry and jealous rival, is frustratingly running around the dancing couple. Suddenly he breaks in, and brutally takes over the dance with one of the two flies. The remaining fly is now kicked out, has lost his dancing partner, and ...

I did another recording, this time Boulder Dash II: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfAMsk1U2H8 Wow, a 3-hour BD marathon! Superb! :D Could be more! And I wasn't that tired after. By the way. BD II is for me quite easier comparing to BD I especially if we talk about levels of difficulty. Actually o...

All diamonds in cave M was also very challenging. But you had to slightly modify this cave right?

Arno - big respect for your effort. You did massive documentation of something which will be useful for most extreme BD players. :)

V-12 playz: Boulder Dash [C64]

I've started to capture my gameplays from Commodore 64 (exactly from Ultimate 64 via HDMI grabber) and one of my gameplays is a first version of Boulder Dash played from A/1 consequently to P/5 for the first time in my life. My gameplay went a little bit viral in Poland which surprised me a little b...

Thanks Logic! Yes, that's an interesting phenomenon too! :) Noticed this phenomenom many years ago too. There is another phenomenom in Professional Boulder Dash from Sijben Soft (which soon became Boulder Dash III) where in cave E two fireflies became killed by a stones, but normally they shouldn't...

I can confirm the problem with 1st level of cowboy world. I bought original Rockford C64 tape and played yesterday. And I really don't know how to beat this cave. There is an invisible item like on picture up posted by Arno. I guess that it should be a snake who would produce missing few diamonds. B...

Also another question is what happened with Sijben Soft? According to this thread (hi Zaphod;) http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46495&sid=f3a17c92dad90f3d59e2ac819d158743 Sijben Soft could be really original designer of the caves from BDIII. He made them for his own and later someone...

I had a few months of break from Boulder Dash, last time I played with some of Arno's versions. If I will come back, for sure the first game which I will start will be Geek Dash. Cool to see new game, congrats! :)
