:) Nice one. I must have imported it from some compilation. The next version will include the original.

Hi

If someone is into drawing, I uploaded a bunch of imported graphics to http://jutas.eet.bme.hu/~cirix/gdash/enemies/
The cells are in their raw form, but already converted to the colors GDash requires, so you can copy & paste if you like. (The amoeba and slime colors must be changed to green and blue, of course.)

bye

What exactly should we do with it? Redraw every tile in a new style?

Well, I don't know :) I have plans to make a 32x32 version of them, original ones resized (like 2x nearest in the game), and "corrected" to have higher resolution.

I can draw things like wall and dirt and rocks, etc, but animated creatures are my weak point. Still, I might give it a go.

Poll: the Boulder Rush theme shipped with GDash has a slightly modified animation of the fireflies. The do not blink as much, the animation is smoother. Apart from the fixed colors, do you like that?

Well GDash can now save the sound and the images of a replay to the disk, and one can make an avi file from it with any decent video converter application. Here is a video I made today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO6vNa3cZLo

ok hai :)

the new experimental version i uploaded is 20090122.
features:
- mixer volume
- scrolling is active when game is paused (but the player is not yet born)
- new elements: flying diamond & boulder (more to come)
- explosion effects reworked (see cave properties dialog), not a big deal, but may look much nicer if correctly used
- boulder remake import enhanced (probabilities are now correctly imported, and YES, BR allows setting bonus time to -100)
- replay saver - save your replays and convert them to AVI files! about the conversion, see http://jutas.eet.bme.hu/~cirix/gdash/replay_to_avi.html. i already uploaded one on youtube, as you can see in other posts - that's just what it does.

bye

Suddenly the whole game is in english but I set german as default language. I think there is something wrong. This was not the case with 20090113!

Edit: Not all is back to english. Mostly menus. Dialogs and other things (like element box or cave properties) are mostly german.

Does GDash record replays from caves played in SDash, or just GDash itself. Just want to make sure before I start to collect replays for making videos.

Also, when I do record them in GDash, and check the 'saved' box next to them, it doesn't save them when I close. :(
Boulders are round.
Fireflies are square.

SDash, too. Press R on the title screen to see replays. (Press F1 to see all commands!)

How do you quit GDash? I play a game, open replays window, check "saved", click close, then press Alt+F4. The game asks me whether I want to save changes - to save the replays. (Of course, replays will always be saved in a .bd file, not in the .gds file, which is a read-only format.)

Whoops, I clicked 'no' when it asked me whether to save or not. :frusty:

Could you list the difficulty level each replay was recorded at in SDash, as well as GDash?

I have a question about the Gdash editor...

Is there a certain mode one can enable, such that the objects you are placing will ONLY appear on a certain level?

Reason being, when I make the 5-level versions of my SD series, some of the more map-based puzzle levels, I'm going to make harder by adding extra objects to make things more painful as the levels increase.

The only way I know how is to edit the properties of each object after placing it, and ticking the appropriate level boxes.

Good idea for a feature or editing mode?
