I'm just wondering if there will be any update to GDash? It's been quite a while since last update...

I tried the Windows version of GDash lately and noticed that the window size/settings of the editor window is not saved. Can this be fixed?

And I found a really nice suggestion for the moving up and down animation:

And this new Firefly animation also looks very appealing:

As I bought a nice retro bluetooth gamepad lately an option to use this in GDash would also be very much appreciated!

These links don't work for me; I get an 'access denied'...
Is there another way to view these animations?

Did anybody notice that OpenGL does not work in newer MacOSes (tried it on MacOS 10.12)? Using the MacPort version 20180129. Only SDL and GTK works. But without OpenGL no smooth scrolling is possible.

But I can recommend GDash anyway! It has very few bugs on my Windows, and I made >20 games with it without (many) problems :)

ROCKFORD collects DIAMOND, digs DIRT
DIAMOND outvalues DIRT & BOULDER
DIRT carries BOULDER, blocks FIREFLY
BOULDER kills FIREFLY & ROCKFORD

A kind of bug and how to fix it easily.

Hi guys, I've used an older GDash version for years, but now I've got a new laptop so I downloaded the latest version. There's a kind of bug that can be annoying - it slows down considerably if many boulders fall simultaneousely. However, this can easily be fixed by disabling the "partice effects" in Settings --> graphics --> last checkmark.
I'm not sure whether this has already been posted earlier, but better twice than not at all! :D
So if anyone has the same problem, perhaps this could help you :)

I can vouch for GDash. I've spent a great amount looking into the levels just to see how things ticked, before I started working on designs of my own. The editor makes it pretty easy, and saving the cavesets in BDCFF makes them portable, but until I figure out how to manipulate CLCK (and make VICE64 recognise my mouse!) I'm sticking to GDash for the time being.

One day, when I have more patience.. ;)
