In this thread I will release 10 Boulder Dash puzzles that I created a few year ago for a C64 magazine (Info Bulletin).
The intension is to play the caves "by heart", instead of trying them in the C-kit. Probably most of them will be quite easy for the people here, but still it can be fun to look at a cave in quite a different way.
Once in a few weeks or something, I'll post a new puzzle.
PUZZLE #1.
How many diamonds can Rockford collect, before leaving through the exit?

I can find 2 ways to get all but 2 of them and still reach the exit, but I won't spoil it for anyone.
Boulders are round.
Fireflies are square.
I need to find
a'way out of here.

I think this was fun; what if you posted all 10 of them in the same format as the two quizzes on the main site?

I think most of these puzzles take too much time for a visitor, in order to do 10 of them in a complete quiz...
But thanx for the reminder!
It's time to release the next puzzle, so here it comes:
PUZZLE #2.
Can Rockford make a way through the rocks and reach the diamonds/exit?

I'm guessing it's 50/50 possible/impossible.
EDIT: Actually I'd say yes, looking at it, but I've only took a glance.

I'm almost positive that it would be possible by going up the left side - there looks like enough dirt if you clear it out efficiently.

Yes, walk left until there's two squares of dirt left between you and the border. Snap left and step right. Move up and right, up and left, and now I'm pretty sure there'll be space to the left of you enough to go left again and up to the "mouth" of the "smiley face" of dirt in the upper left corner. Erase the mouth and you're pretty much set.

Yep, that is the correct answer.

PUZZLE #3.
This one I found a bit dull, but for completeness, I include it.
What is the maximum amount of diamonds that Rockford can collect?
(The magic wall has unlimited milling time.)

Yep, Rockford can convert all boulders through the magic wall, without wasting any diamond. No pitfalls here.
