how to use option colors (F7) in title editor?
Exactly like described in the first post of this thread. Yes, this is still missing in the manual. At least, it links to this thread, now.

Ok, understood. I thought there should appear a menu or such.

Images 06102008.d* were broken. Please download those again. The images are called 07102008.d* now.

Keys used in the color editor are in the anleitung.txt now. It's somewhat mixed language, I know. In the final version there will be anleitung.html in German and manual.html in English.

Enemydesigner first alpha version:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-1169086/enemydesigner3.0.html

- better colors with luminance shades the original charset was designed for.
- animation speed closer to the game.
- typos fixed.
- GFX is included in this file for testing purpose, so char ripping is not possible in this alpha. It will be back in the final version.
- only PLCK is supported right now. A CrLi version will follow after code cleanup is complete.

Another Enemydesigner alpha: http://www.file-upload.net/download-1170300/enemydesigner3.0.html
- Everything is relocated, which makes it possible to load and decrunch it as a one filer without overwriting the enemy charset in RAM. Thanks to cross developing and exomizer, I was easily able to locate everything from $0334 to $22d7.
- Got rid of unused database bytes which reduced every entry from 40 bytes to 37.
- If there is no bug left, it can fully replace No One's original version now.

Next version will be beta, and there will be a CrLi version, too.

Here is the beta version: http://www.file-upload.net/download-1170876/enemydesigner3.0.html
This version:
- CrLi v3.0 support only.
- Creating a new set from scratch is not supported, as there are also text charsets, the statusbar sprite and the scroll patterns in the en-* file, which can not be created by this tool. Hence it automatically requests a file to load whenever there is no v3.0 en-* file in memory.

A new disk is available: http://www.gratissaugen.de/erbsen/plans.html

Now, the Crazy Light Tools are complete, except for the documentation.

Wow! Thank you!

Only one thing I would like to see: mouse support in the enemy designer. Smile

Small bugfix: joystick/player selector line color could not be changed in the title editor.
Get the updated version here: http://www.gratissaugen.de/erbsen/plans.html

I can't get CLCK (19112008) to work correctly in Vice (i think), not all of the objects available are visible. Same in ViceX for the xbox. I tried it on a real c64 with mmc64 using the d64 browser but that didnīt work at all, Maybe the objects are stored in an other file than the ck? The mmc64 d64browser can only load one file from a d64.

From the main menu, you have to go to "configure editors" and change the user skill from 'novice' to 'expert', and then save the setup. Then you should be able to access everything in the construction kit.

THIS IS IT!! THIS IS WHAT I wanted all along!!! I can transfer this to my real C64 and start having fun building my own games!! One question, are there plans to make it all 100% English? Thanks in advance.

No, since it's done already, more than 1 year ago. The only thing I might change for those tools making them final is completing the manual someday. Until then, people find my tutorial on youtube quite helpful.

Did you download the latest file? http://www.gratissaugen.de/erbsen/CLCKBETA.ZIP
