Hello to everyone on this forum. My name is Matt, I live in Australia and have just recently re-discovered Boulder Dash via emulation (the last time i played it was on my C64 in the early 1990's). Currently I am working my way through the original levels of BD1 (up to cave J at the moment) and are looking forward to reading the many posts about one of the all time great C64 games.

I don't know how many times I've already played BD1, but I can't get enough of it. It's one of my favourite games

Hi Matt! You're exactly telling my story, I also rediscovered that fantastic game some years ago after I thought I could never play it again! And cave J was by far the hardest BD1 cave for me too! I remember my mum challenging the cave again and again when I was a child
(and she beat it after several tries!)

BTW, my bro was in New Zealand recently (a work-and-travel project), and he loves it so much that he plans to move there in the near future!
