I always wanted to post about stage B1 and ask people to join my competition! I think it's the best stage for trying to get diamond score record. Actually i have been returning for that stage for almost 20 years. In past we managed to get 605 score there and a lot of 595, 598 etc. I think beating that record is possible, have some tricks to do that but still it needs a lot of time and luck.
It's great to see someone is also trying to play stage B1! and would even better seeing some people joining competition.
Btw. Stage M1 in original Boulder Dash is also fun for diamond competition, but on that one there is a lot less action, it depends more on how amoeba grows than actual gameplay. Record from past was somewhere around 350 diamonds.
