honestly,,, internet was probably always toxic,,, but the current toxicity which mainly comes from tiktok users really REALLY annoys me,,,
somebody's ''biggest crime'' is being a ''cornball'', and they get harassed, their private info gets leaked, called terrible things, all for being a ''cornball',
like,,, if your going to callout that behaviour all they going is to try to excuse their actions and not listen to you

i also hated for a while new internet slang like ''ts'' (short for ''this is'' or ''this shit''), ''sybau'' (short for ''shut your bitch ass'') and ''pmo'' (pisses me off) because i associated them with those types of users, but i kinda accepted them since abbreviating phrases was always part of internet speek (like LOL)

i'm kinda glad i isolated myself from that part of internet since it makes me feel very angry inside,,, like,,, why cant we be empathetic FOR ONE MINUTE

Don't let the internet, and especially "social" media, brink you down!

So better just leave those toxic places behind (as you said you did), and instead spend some time with things you love, and which make you happy!

This may be this forum (at least I hope so) and its topic (that is, all things Boulder Dash), or something completely offline -- like having someone baking a yummy cake for you!
